hello you.
My name's Pip. I'm a writer, theatremaker and dramaturg.

Hope this finds you well.

I love formal experimentation, genre (by which I guess I really mean horror/comedy/weird stuff), and the intersections between live performance practices.

A friend once described my work as "disruptive folklore", which I really like.

I like live performance because it is an art form that allows you to say "hello" to people and see what happens if they say "hello" back.

I am an inherently collaborative artist, and love generating text in response to a variety of different disciplines, stimuli and spaces.

I have worked with Camden People's Theatre, Southwark Playhouse, Vaults, Cambridge Junction, Greenside Studios and Boundless Theatre, among others.

I am the co-artistic director and founding member of We Talk Of Horses, a company in which I do loud, angry, sad stuff with my friend Sam. You can check us out here.

I also hold an MA in Dramaturgy and Writing for Performance from Goldsmiths, University of London.
(so there.)

I also write critically, and am always keen to work as an outside eye/embedded critic for experimental and challenging work.

I live in South East London with two rats called Herzog and Little Princess.
Have a look around, make yourself comfortable.
